Well today has been one of those days that you never really expect to be anything different from anyother weekend but turned out extra special.
We got ourselves sorted earlier than normal for a saturday morning, as we had planned to meet my dad in Exeter as Father Christmas was going to be going down through the main high street with his raindeers, as an extra treat my husband had no work or football so we set off as a family....
Exeter was very busy but we managed to park the car and as we left the car park we met my dad and walked through the town to find a place to stand.
The boys took up their position on my their daddys and grandads shoulders and here he came....... pulled by six large and two baby raindeers, their faces really were a picture. They watched in a magical transe until he had passed and then we made are way to the guildhall where they were going to park the animals for the children to see.
This was then followed by a sit in a vintage fire engine and majorettes doing their thing....
By this time hunger was creeping in and so we went into the new Pricesshay shopping centre and Costa Coffee, a Brie and Cranberry Panini and Large Hot choc later and we were fit to carry on..
I was very well bahaved I have to say, I passed 'The Orange Tree', 'Crabtree & Evelyn' and 'Molton Brown' without even asking to go in as I know it would involve a large spend.....'The Orange Tree' is my favourite shop, Gisella Graham, Emma Bridgewater, Kipling and Cath Kidston all under one roof - HEAVEN>>>>
With the temperature dropping we decided it was time to leave Exeter and after saying goodbye to my dad we went out to my sisters for a warming coffee and home made cake..
KFC was the final visitng place today and a Large Variety Bucket and Tower Burger went down a treat.
Now the boys are in bed I have realised just how lucky I am and what such a nice day we have had and with a cold Cider by my side, X Factor on the telly I am now looking forward to an equaly nice day tomorrow.
I Hope those of you who attended the Vintage and Handmade fair had a great time, the pics showing on peoples blogs look great !!! Only wish I could have come and purchased some of the lovely looking goodies on show....
Enjoy the rest of the weekend and keep cosy in this cold weather we are having....

The Orange Tree...my fave too.I think I have blogged it two or three times and there is a very nice man in there who lets you take photos!! (Unlike CK in York!)
