In some ways I am hoping that the phone will ring any minute to say that he wants his mummy and in other ways I am so so so pleased that he is being big and brave and getting more and more independant every day and at just four years old staying away from home for the night is a big big thing.......Oh well I have never driven to Exeter in the middle of the night so we will see what the night brings.

Hiya, just found your blog via Mel Mel (fab) I'm surrounded by males at home too, I have a stepson who is 13, then my oldest is 9, then 7 and 5 plus hubby of course. Love the fact you have a female dog, we're hoping to get a daschaund at some point who will definatly be a girl!!!
Believe me its a wrench when they first start going for sleeps at nan and grandads then as they get older you REALLY look forward to it...lol.
Love your blog so far.....Claire x
