Its sooooooooo cold....

Hi all,
My big baby is currently tucked up tonight in his own bed after two nights a nannies !! We have been out today with some friends to Torquay and the boys rode their scooters along the seafront, followed by lunch which was really nice. I needed to get out after having two days in with two sick children.
Halloween party tommorrow to look forward to, i'm ment to be making sausage rolls and pasties to take but i'm going to allow J sainsburys to provide these for me after the week I have had.
Just to top it my husband is having a 'feel sorry for him night' and gone to bed, probably had a busy day poor love !!!!!
Heres what I had for lunch yesturday, Homity Pie from a local farm shop..

Really yummy but please excuse the tomatoe sauce, I have a bit of a thing for tomatoe sauce with nearly everything....
I am asking for some ideas on houw to jazz up my currently dull conservatory. When it was added to the rear of the house 12 months ago, its a white PVC with 1/3 brick wall 2/3 Pvc we have painted it in a very light mushroom colour, not sure of exact, but it has a neutral carpet and chocolate brown 2 seater seatee....... very bland and boring...I would have loved a day bed with loads of cushions and a pretty standard lamp which I might still have if I can not come up with any other ideas. I am also lucky and have a tie bar supporting the roof and I have wound some pretty lights around it and saw some lovely Gisella Graham red floral bunting which I plan to wrap around aswell......Pretty cushions are not really ideal for me as my boys use tham as bombs.....

Some of the pretty things in my kitchen.....

We changed a kitchen/diner into a huge kitchen and I have 19 kitchen cupboards, only problem is I put something away and never find it again oh yeah and I also have the problem with moving things so everytime anyones comes they are lucky if they can even find the kettle.....

My conservatory in all its glory ----- not.......

As you can see I really do need to sort it and then I can start to move out some of the many toys my boys have chosen to house in there. My husband is going to shelf out an old wardrobe in the boys bedroom to store them in.....

Had a lovely paskage arrive yesturday with some new autumn clothes I had ordered from Lareadoute, really love their stuff, now have a peacock blue top, brown, top, stripe top and charcoal grey pinafore dress which I hope will look as good on as it did on the model...... oh yeah and these mittens..

Now gonna make a nice cup of tea in my very large Emma Bridgewater Hearts mug and I might even cheapen myself and dunk a few biscuits.......
Nighty Night all

i was just thinking bunting when you said you had some already :-) I would put up the red bunting and maybe get a small red rug to tie it all in together.... if your feeling particularly brave you could paint either the "house" wall or personally I would think maybe paint the dwarf walls in a red or a darker chocolate brown to give a bit of oomph to it - a couple of hard wearing red cushions would be nice as well - my blog this week says about my children using all my cushions to make a path!!!! but its a lovely space and nice to have somewhere to keep all the toys!
good luck!

Hello Tilly,
Welcome to Blogland...it is very addictive!
Like you, I enjoy using my Emma B cup and saucer...I just worry that someone may chip it when washing it up!
The bunting sounds fun...you must show us.

Hiya, how about a new england style theme, its one of my faves and goes perfect with BOYS!!! You can add a mixture of blue and red striped or checked cushions, bunting goes great with it, lamps, pics of family etc, baskets and boxes etc! if you check out Ideal Home's magazine website they have quite a few pics in the gallery section. Have fun!
I love the wristwarmers, there a loads of styles around this year!
